The Northern Ontario Quilting Symposium

Workshops with Tracy Russell and

                 Carla Alexiuk

            April 14 & 15, 2018

     Lexington Hotel, Sudbury Ontario

This years feature instructor, Tracy Russell.  Tracy has been longarm quilting since 2007.

She is known for her YouTube and Facebook series "A design a day". Located in Oshawa, Ontario, Tracy runs an education centre called Whirls n Swirls Quilting. There she teaches quilters how easy it is to finish their own quilts, supplying quilters with education and support.  She has published two book featuring her techniques and is busy teaching her sketching class all over Canada.  I am so pleased to be able to give you this opportunity to take a workshop with her.  Tracy's workshop is for all quilters wanting to learn and perfect their free motion skills.

This will be a sketching class designed for quilters with all sizes and types of machines, domestic to longarm.

New this year to the Symposium is My Finishing School.

For those of you who are not interested in taking Tracy's free motion class, I invite you to join me for two days of uninterrupted quilting time.  A great way to clear out some of those PHD's (projects half done)  Oh you know you have some!  It happens when we put a project aside for a "rest" and find it years later.  Not only incomplete but we have no idea how to go about completing it!  Let me help you get back on track. With one-on-one guidance I can help you make way for new projects.  If your in need of some time to get a few projects done and there are to many interruptions at home, then this is the perfect opportunity to get some uninterupted quilting time.

Lunch and ample tea and coffee are included with your registration.  So don't delay, and get ready for a great weekend of learning, laughing and connecting with friends.

Register now, space is limited.
