Apliquick Appliqué
Always wanted to do appliqué, but needle turn felt just a little too hard? Let Carla walk you through the Apliquick method of turned-edge appliqué.
Apliquick is an innovative set of tools for turned-edge appliqué. The appliqué shape is traced onto light-weight fusible interfacing, cut out, and ironed onto the wrong side of the fabric. The Apliquick rods and glue stick are used to easily and precisely turn under the seam allowance before stitching.
Learn the secrets of smooth curves, sharp points, and perfect circles. Embrace the multitude of tips covered in class along with different hand and machine-stitching techniques, and what threads to use. At the end of class, students will be well on their way to having this beautiful pillow top.

Wedge Star Basics
In this technique class, students will master the Wedge Star Block using the Wedge Star™ Tool by Studio 180 Designs. Students will create the Basic Wedge Star Block and depending on their speed of sewing, should be able to complete the Mixed Wedge Star Block. Along with mastering the use of the Wedge Star Tool, students will be introduced to layout options, and many tips and tricks for precision piecing.
Pre-cut Fabric Kit is available for this class.

Lemoyne Star Basics
This is a technique class to master the Lemoyne Star Block using the Rapid-Fire Lemoyne Star™ Tool and methods from Studio 180 Design. In class, you will master the use of the specialized tool to create a Lemoyne Star block, layout options, and many tips and tricks for precision piecing.

Banded Lemoyne Star
This is a technique class to master the Banded Lemoyne Star Block using the Rapid-Fire Lemoyne Star™ Tool and methods from Studio 180 Design. In class, you will master the use of the specialized tool to create a Banded Lemoyne Star block, layout options, and many tips and tricks for precision piecing. Depending on your speed of sewing, you should be able to complete a few blocks in class.

Blazing Lemoyne Star
This is a technique class to master the Blazing Lemoyne Star Block using the Rapid-Fire Lemoyne Star™ Tool and methods from Studio 180 Design. In class, you will master the use of the specialized tool to create a Blazing Lemoyne Star block, layout options, and many tips and tricks for precision piecing. Ring Around the 4-Patch
This is a technique class to learn the tips and tricks to make Ring Around the Four Patch, a miniature quilt designed by Katrina Thomas of The Hope Chest Quilting. Featuring the Shaded Four Patch Unit, you will learn the technique of creating them two-at-a-time and trimming them down to perfection using the Tucker Trimmer I™ tool by Studio 180 Design. The blocks are set to form radiating rings and finished off with two small borders. This is a great project to use up small scraps or use a defined colourway for the radiating rings. The class will include step-by-step use of the Tucker Trimmer I™ tool, as well as tips on piecing and proper pressing techniques to make this quilt perfect. Additionally, we will talk through the appropriate border prep and application, and ways to improve your general machine piecing. You will leave class with everything needed to complete Ring Around the Four Patch with ease.

Precision Log Cabin
If you have ever tried to make a log cabin block, you will agree that they do not always work out precisely. This technique class has you mastering the Log Cabin Block using the techniques developed by Studio 180 Design. Strip piece each round of oversized logs, then trim them down with the Tucker Trimmer III™. This method allows all quilters to achieve perfection in their Log Cabin Blocks. In class, students will be constructing two blocks to familiarize themselves with the process.

Introduction to Curved Piecing
Welcome to the wonderful world of curved piecing! In these classes, you will learn the No Stress/No Pins curved piecing methods developed by Jenny and Helen of Sew Kind of Wonderful. These innovative techniques make sewing curves approachable, accurate, and fun for every quilter.
With Carla's clear, step-by-step instruction, you will learn how to create individual curved units and assemble them with confidence. Her thoughtful teaching style, combined with helpful tips and tricks, will show you how simple curved piecing can be with the cut, sew, and square-up method.
Carla's classes are designed to remove the fear from sewing curves and replace it with confidence and creativity.
Wonder Flutter Runner by Sew Kind of Wonderful
If you are intrigued by curved piecing but don't know where to start, then this class is for you! In this technique class, you will learn the No Stress/No Pins curved piecing methods, cutting curves fast, easy, and consistent. The Cut-Sew-Square-Up allows for working with bias, and the square up ensures blocks are consistent for piecing.

Mini Citrus
Learn the No Pins/No Stress curved piecing techniques developed by Jenny & Helen from Sew Kind of Wonderful. In class, you will use the QCR Mini Ruler© to master the Citrus Block, and create this beautiful Medallion "Mini Citrus". A great project using 5" squares, whether it's a charm pack, layer cake, or some of your beautiful stash fabrics. This class will include step-by-step use of the tool, as well as tips on piecing and proper pressing techniques to make this quilt perfect. You will leave class with everything needed to complete your Mini Citrus with ease.
